  1. I ordered my books almost 2 full weeks ago, and paid to have them shipped first class so I would recieve them before my classes began…Well unfortunately 2 weeks and 100 dollars later, still no books. I guess I just don’t know how people can do things like this and not have a guilt trip..

  2. My copy of “We The People” is absolutely oustanding. In March 2009 it was accidentially dropped into thick snow, run over by academics, then plowed into a snow bank. When recovered it dried relatively well inside an oven. Subsequently, some thoughtful person donated it to the Salvation Army where I found and bought it at a Family Store. Even though it doesn’t close, the pages are readable. It would remain a bargain at twice the price. My wrinkled copy cost me 35 cents.

NOW – the best description of this work that can be offered by a highly educated person with 50 adult years of experience observing and confronting the legerdemain, calumny and sometimes criminality of each branch of the U.S. government is this: BALDERDASH. There is more veracity to be found in a randomly chosen copy of MAD magazine or cartoon strip from POGO. Young people, write down the following hint: when a book about this country is front loaded with some quote by de Tocqueville it means that the rest of the text is to be examined with skepticism and clear thinking.

This is also no book for someone unapologetic who has lived under a parlimentary democracy and never felt that their form of government was in any way inferior to that of the United States.

  3. This book is difficult to read. It makes me spend at-least 5 minutes per page, but usually 10 minutes. There are a lot of typos. The language that is used makes the book hard to understand. The combination of words in the sentences makes the author look lazy. I would not recommend this book. Whenever the author refers to a case, he makes it hard to understand and follow.

  4. I ordered this book October 16th, 2009 and the shipping took forever. And guess what? Adam’s Books N More charged my bank account and never sent it. What a waste. Please note that these third party sellers are not reliable and will probably cause you more work in the long run.
